Last month, I got to escape to Cuba for a week and it was a wonderful reset and escape, not having travelled abroad in almost four years. It was a great reminder of all that the world has to offer and I enjoyed my stay at the Playa Paraíso all-inclusive resort in Cayo Coco. Scroll to the bottom for all the tropical vibes! Now that I have a bit more colour (yay for sunkissed skin!), I've been loving playing with peachy pinks and bronzy blush and highlighter which you will see I used in this summery makeup look.

These days, the market is so saturated with emerging beauty brands that it takes a lot to grab my attention. Merit Beauty* is one that stood out from the rest to me. The brand was founded by Katherine Power, who is also the co-founder of Avaline Wine alongside Cameron Diaz. I was immediately drawn by the simplicity and ethos of the brand, featuring a small selection of products meant to keep your makeup routine fresh and most importantly, with no harm done as the ingredients are clean and non-toxic. I was excited to put these luxury products to the test in my latest video and share my thoughts and first impressions with you.

Lise Watier Diamond Dreams | Holiday Makeup Look

The most wonderful time of the year is here! I've already gone down the rabbit hole of having Christmas decorations up and have been watching (too) many Hallmark holiday movies (and I'm not ashamed to admit it)! It's also been an insanely long time since I shared a holiday-inspired makeup look (take a trip down memory lane here) so I figure it was about time I got to it! Once my eyes were treated to the Lise Watier Diamond Dreams Collection Set* I knew I had to share it because it is absolutely gorgeous, from the holographic packaging down to the colours and the quality and performance of the makeup itself. For those unfamiliar with the brand, Lise Watier is part of Canada's largest cosmetics brand based here in Montreal and it has been around since 1972. The entire line is cruelty-free and products are made in Italy and available at pharmacies and department stores across Canada as well as online.

NEW! Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Collection | First Impressions + Makeup Look

I recently experienced one of those "pinch me" moments when this adorable pink box filled with the entire Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Collection landed on my doorstep. I am such a big fan of both the makeup artist and the amazing cosmetics line she has built, having tried quite a few of her products over the years. Surprisingly though, I had never tried the ever so popular Pillow Talk lipstick, one (if not the) most sold lipstick shade in the world. I saw on social media that Charlotte Tilbury was expanding her line to include not only deeper shades in the existing lipstick, lip liner and blusher but was also adding a bunch more Pillow Talk products to her range, such as an eyeshadow palette, highlighters and eyeliner. I was super stoked to put the new Pillow Talk products to work, and I figured it would be great to not only show you what's new but also have you see in action how these apply in my latest video, too!

Charlotte Tilbury recently came out with new makeup which I was lucky enough to receive, namely the Airbrush Flawless Foundation*, Magic Vanish Color Corrector* and Starry Eyes to Hypnotize Eyeshadow Palette*. As I was sorting through my vanity makeup, I came to the realization that I have collected quite a few of the brand's makeup over the last couple of years, enough to create a full-face look! I love watching one brand tutorials as you get to see what a brand has to offer in action and such videos speak to a product's application performance.

I've been itching to film a makeup tutorial since it's been ages since I've done one, and with some sunny weather finally cooperating, I knew it was a sign to get on it! I've been keeping my makeup pretty simple these days, nothing too complicated or time-consuming. I have been doing a few steps differently though which I find make for a positive change, which I share with you in this Chatty Get Ready With Me. How To Clean Makeup Brushes | 2 Super Cheap + Easy Methods

I remember the first time I came across a video about makeup brush cleaning and thinking to myself, "wait a minute, why didn't it cross my mind to wash mine sooner?" Yikes! Whether you stick to the minimum and own just a handful of brushes that easily fit in your makeup bag, or have a lot of them taking over your office space like I do, makeup brush cleaning should be a part of your weekly routine. There are many different ways to go about washing your makeup brushes, most of which I've tried and tested over the years, but I'll be sharing and demonstrating what in my opinion are the two most effective ways. Best part? These two methods are super budget-friendly, and will prolong the life of your brushes in the long run as they are super gentle and most importantly, antibacterial.

Chit Chat Get Ready With Me | Fall Makeup

Random fact about me: I get winded really easily - and I don't just mean while exercising. If I end up talking for too long (which for me would equate to over a minute, seriously), I become very out of breath. You can just imagine how this translates into public speaking, aka "not my forte". Even just sitting in front of my camera and talking to you guys requires a lot of exertion, but I thought it was about time I chatted and caught you up on some life happenings while doing my makeup, no music or other distractions. Thank goodness for cuts and retakes, because filming a video in one shot is basically impossible for me!

I'm a little late to the Too Faced Sweet Peach Palette party, especially considering it isn't currently available for purchase, but the good news is that Too Faced Cosmetics co-founder Jerrod Blandino announced on his Instagram that it will be re-released this coming November due to high demand. And the news keeps getting better, with Blandino spilling the beans just a few days ago that a Sweet Peach GLOW Highlighting Palette is expected to release next spring! Oh my - can we talk about a packaging match made in heaven? I can't wait to see what's inside! Get Ready With Me | Mint and Orange Summer Makeup

I am not one to wear eyeliner very regularly - even black liner I usually only apply on special occasions - let's just say a winged cat eye is not my forte. I've been trying to experiment with new colours to challenge myself, and a great way for me to do so is by playing up my eyes and adding a pop of colour to my lips. I sat down the other day and put a couple of the new Make Up For Ever Aqua XL Eye Pencils to the test. Orange is my favourite summer lip colour, so I wanted to incorporate it into this look. Get Ready With Me | Fresh Makeup for Spring!

Even though spring is probably my least favourite season, I still get excited about it because that basically means we are just one season away from summer, aka what I believe is the best time of the year and when I am at my happiest (I blame it on the vitamin D)! Since we are talking about seasons right now, my thought process is basically that I'd rather go outside all bundled up when it's -35C or in super light clothing when it's +35C, which would explain why I prefer these extreme seasons, especially living here in Montreal. I'm not such a huge fan of the 'in between seasons' for that reason, although I appreciate how nature transforms before our eyes in spring and fall. Anyways, back to today's topic - makeup! I felt inspired to play around with some new products I've been trying out all while incorporating some old favourites. I wanted to keep it fresh, wearable and glowy. Enjoy!
