In Love with my Beauty Blender: A Review!

Hi Lovelies! :)

I purchased the Beauty Blender last month, and have fallen in love with it! Trust me, this baby is awesome! It is extremely bouncy, as you can see in the pictures below!

I got it from Sephora for $26 CAN - I know what you're thinking: that is crazy expensive, and I agree... but it is absolutely worth it in my books (sometimes some things are just worth splurging on)! The finish it gives your liquid foundation is unlike any other makeup sponge applicator, Beauty Blender dupe (such as the Avon Precision Grip Teardrop Blender, which doesn't even compare), or brush I have ever used. The beauty blender is best used damp, by wetting it and squeezing out the excess water, preventing all of your foundation from getting sucked into the sponge. Hence, you are not wasting any product. The tapered end is perfect for getting into those hard-to-reach places, a.k.a around the nose and under the eyes, and also for evening out your liquid concealer. For an all over application, I use the other end and bounce it gently all over my face. The only thing that kind of sucks about the sponge is that it easily stains, despite my scrubbing the heck out of it when washing it with soap... oh well, as long as it keeps doing it's thing, I am one happy camper! :)

I really recommend getting this product if you do not own it already! It definitely is a staple in my makeup collection! :)

Do you love your Beauty Blender as much as I do? <3

Have a great day!

  3. I have seen so many raving reviews on this but I've always hated using sponges to apply foundation! I've been umming and arring about whether to give this a try or not for ages! My go to foundation applicator is my real techniques buffing brush but I might just have to give the beauty blender a go!
