Nail Care Routine: Products I Use to Strengthen my Nails

I have always been one to struggle with keeping my nails nice and strong. The food you eat definitely has an impact on your nails just as it does on the rest of your body, since your nails depend on vitamins and minerals  such as Vitamin E and calcium to keep them from chipping and splitting, so that is definitely a good area to explore if you too suffer from thin, brittle nails. Topical care, however less "crucial", can also help prevent your nails from giving you attitude. Over the years, I have tested quite a few products out, and I have been able to narrow down those that work best for me. Here I will be sharing with you the 4 products that have significantly improved my "nail health"! :)

Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Circle Eraser

I don't know what it is about concealers, but I always really really enjoy trying out new ones! The most recent concealer to have passed the test in my opinion is Maybelline's Instant Age Rewind Eraser for Dark Circles. It is highly praised in the beauty community, and I have definitely hopped on the bandwagon with this concealer after having tried it myself! :)

Hydraluron Moisture Booster by Indeed Labs: A Review

I really enjoy trying out new products from the drugstore, and the bright pink packaging of the Hydraluron Moisture Booster by Indeed Labs really caught my attention on my last trip to the skincare aisle. I actually featured this product in my most recent haul which you can read here! I usually like to read reviews on beauty products before purchasing them because I really value other people's opinions, but for some reason I had a feeling that I would really enjoy the Moisture Booster. Upon arriving home from my shopping spree, I searched the product online and the reviews were even better than I had initially thought!

Maybelline Great Lash Lots of Lashes Mascara

Lately I have been experimenting with various mascaras and have come to discover some great ones from the drugstore. The first one I wanted to share with you is Maybelline's Great Lash Lots of Lashes Mascara, which I got in the shade Blackest Black. I remember as a little girl seeing my mom use the original version of this mascara, and she still uses it to this day and her lashes are always super long, nicely curled and perfectly separated. Yes ladies, you've read right: this mascara has been around for a REALLY long time - according to Maybelline's website, it first hit the shelves over 40 years ago! So I said to myself: if this line of mascara is still being sold after so many years following its release, it must be amazing! And so I chose the Lots of Lashes Washable Mascara, but instead of the original that has a wand of uniform width, I got the one with the tapered brush.

Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette: A Review

Summer is knocking on our doors, and everyone knows what that entails: VACATION TIME! I am so very excited to get to travel to the South in a few months with family, and since I like packing lightly, I was looking for an all-in-one face palette that would be handy to take with me. Insert the Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette! I spotted this item at Sephora, and since I had heard such rave reviews on the Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette (which if you don't already know is their eye palette), I figured the Flushed Palette would also be a winner. It comprises a matte brown bronzer, a pink-toned highlighter, and a berry blush. Not only are these shades great quality, but the packaging is probably what sold me the most on this product. It is sleek, compact, has a large mirror and snaps shut so easily with the magnetic closing. I absolutely love it!

I was tagged by my amazingly talented blogger and now Youtuber friend (hehe... this tag was her first ever YT video...woohoo!) Ashlee from makingupashlee to do the I <3 Spring Tag. I know Ashlee would be beyond happy if you guys watched her video and subscribed to her channel - click here to watch her take on the tag! Realizing I hadn't done a tag in quite some time, I decided to share my spring favorites with you through this fun questionnaire! :)

Real Techniques Haul | Round 2

I had purchased all 3 brush sets from Real Techniques last fall and quickly fell in love with the brand. Not only are their brushes amazingly soft and outstanding quality (they do not shed one bit!), but they are also super affordable - keep on reading to find out where to buy your own at an incredible price! You can read my first impressions on the 3 above mentioned brush sets which I hauled here. This time around, I decided to try 3 of Real Techniques' individual brushes: the Powder Brush, the Blush Brush, and the Stippling Brush. Once again, they do not disappoint!

Maybelline Eyestudio Gel Liner in Blackest Black

I don't know about you ladies, but I just cannot do liquid eye liner. I have tried a couple of liquid liners by different brands, and despite watching numerous how-to tutorials online, I just couldn't get myself to master the technique. I decided to venture into the gel liner world instead, since it is said to apply more easily than its liquid counterpart. Insert the Maybelline Eyestudio Gel Liner in Blackest Black: my dramatic eye liner saviour!

Essie 'Come Here!' (Spring 2013 Resort Collection)

Whilst walking through the mall the other day, my eyes were drawn to this beautiful nail polish that was displayed near the entrance of a hair salon. It is called 'Come Here!' by Essie, and it is part of their Spring 2013 Resort Collection...talk about me being drawn to it! This color is seriously a must-have for all of you bright color polish seekers! 'Come Here!' is a neon coral that will catch the attention of anyone around you. I already picture myself wearing this polish on my toes in the summer... it will look especially stunning contrasted with tanned skin! I honestly hope Essie adds this to their permanent collection... I might just need to stock up if that's not the case!
