Marc Anthony Instant Miracle Mask Damage Repair & Volumizing Clay Hair Mask

Marc Anthony Instant Miracle Mask Damage Repair Volumizing Clay Hair Mask

Marc Anthony is a brand that has been around for a while, yet I had never tried their products (until recently that is)! I remember thinking for the longest time that this company was founded by the singer. Upon digging deeper, I realized that is not the case: it was created by a hair stylist over 20 years ago, who also happens to also share this famous name. The company is headquartered here in Canada, but the products are sold internationally, which I was not aware of. When I received the Marc Anthony Instant Miracle Mask Damage Repair & Volumizing Clay Hair Masks*, I was very intrigued and have been using them for the last few weeks. I wanted to report back on how I have been getting along with these masks, so here goes!

Marc Anthony Instant Miracle Mask Damage Repair Hair Mask

I've been using the Instant Miracle Mask Damage Repair Mask all over my hair as a weekly treatment. What immediately drew me to these masks is the bright, funky packaging which reminds me of those squeeze tube drinks I used to have in my childhood.  I've been dealing with a lot of frizz lately (hello baby hairs!), and this has helped tame them. I'm also due for a hair cut soon, so this has been helping with my dry ends in the meantime, as well as shielding my hair from more breakage. This mask has a thick cream consistency and is packed with proteins and moisturizing ingredients such as shea butter, grape seed oil, argan oil and avocado oil. I apply this product from root to tip, leaving it in for about five minutes and skip conditioner whenever I reach for it. I would compare this product to a deep conditioning treatment, as it is very moisturizing and really packs a punch.

Marc Anthony Instant Miracle Mask Volumizing Clay Hair Mask

The other product I've been testing out is the Instant Miracle Mask Volumizing Clay Hair Mask. I'm a huge fan of facial clay masks, so I was looking forward to experiencing the benefits on my hair. Clays are really good at drawing out impurities, and this is exactly what this hair mask is meant to do: it provides extra volume and lift to your roots by removing scalp build-up and excess oil. The triple clay hair formula contains Moroccan lava clay, bentonite clay and kaolin clay, and despite thinking the mask would dry up like it usually does on the face signalling it's time to rinse, this one doesn't. Instead, I just leave it on for about ten minutes and then rinse. I've been using it once a week as well, and I have noticed the added volume at my roots following use.

You can alternate both masks on a weekly basis or use them together during a single treatment (which I also do), focusing the Instant Miracle Mask Volumizing Clay Hair Mask on the roots and the Instant Miracle Mask Damage Repair Hair Mask on the tips. Multi-masking it something that is still very new to me, but so far I've been loving the results! My hair feels and looks smoother, and I love how bouncy it has become since incorporating these into my hair washing routine.

You can find both of these Marc Anthony Instant Miracle Masks at various drugstore and grocery stores, such as Shoppers Drug Mart/Pharmaprix, Well.ca and Walmart in Canada and Ulta, Walgreens and Target in the U.S.
