Hand Chemistry Intense Youth Complex Hand Cream | Review

I think an area of the skin we tend to neglect to moisturize is our hands. That is the case for me anyways, and I know I can't be alone. Go figure my face gets most of the attention with all the various lotions and potions I slather on throughout the week, that I often forget to give my hands a little TLC too! I'm not that picky when it comes to hand creams, but today I have a product to share with you that has just raised the bar for all other hand creams, and that is the Hand Chemistry Intense Youth Complex*. It is by far the BEST hand cream I have ever tried - I am just in awe of how amazing it is so be prepared for some gushing praise! The claims are numerous, but the product actually delivers on all of them. What's the secret you ask?

Hand Chemistry Intense Youth Complex uses the latest active ingredients to visibly reduce the skin's 8 signs of aging by visibly improving firmness, elasticity, density, evenness, brightness, texture, smoothness and hydration and claims to provide visible results in just 11 days, with prolonged use being recommended for optimal results. I was a little skeptical, but as I learned more about the cream's formulation, it sounded quite promising. The secret behind the cream is the biotechnological derivative of the mushroom Tremella Fuciformis Sporocarp, which has been shown to be 400 times more moisturizing than Hyaluronic Acid. Yes you read that right! The active complex concentration also boasts Biological GHK, shown to be more effective than collagen injections and algae ferment, which can increase skin's moisture content by 21% in just 24 hours. Other key ingredients include Sacha Inchi oil and Maize Propanediol, further adding to the cream's moisture retention property. The cream is also made in Canada and not tested on animals - now those are things I like to hear!

At first application I knew all the above claims were not a joke. Bottom line: this hand cream works, and not just on me. I casually left it on the bathroom counter one night and my mom couldn't help but apply some, and the following morning was in awe at how incredibly soft her hands felt. Now for my mom to say that, I know this stuff is beyond just good since she has extremely dry and cracked hands all year long due to having a hands-on job. The cream get absorbed within a couple of minutes without leaving a greasy feel and feels very lightweight, making it perfect to use both morning and night. Oh, and did I mention the scent? It's that fruity, sweet, I-wish-you-were-edible-but-sadly-you're-not scent, but still unlike anything I have smelt before. You just gotta try it to know what I mean.

Launched last October in the UK, Hand Chemistry has quickly become the #1 selling product in the hand & body category at Boots and has been featured in magazines like Marie Claire, InStyle, Cosmopolitan, Fashion, Chatelaine and more. The Youth Complex Hand Cream has now landed in Canada and is available for $19.99 at Shoppers Drug Mart (look for it in the skincare aisle!) and also online with free shipping nationwide. Worth the price? A big, definite YES!

  2. I've been using an exfoliating hand cream from tj max and it really has helped keep my hands soft. I'm trying to make more of an effort to use SPF as well to prevent age spots

  4. I recently purchased this hand cream at CVS. After 2 weeks of use I formed brown freckle like spots on the back of my hand (not palm) between my thumb and pointer finger. I stopped use immediately and have an appointment to see a dermatologist. Do not use this product!
