Mavala Oil Seal Dryer: Touch-Dry Manicure In Seconds!

If you are like me and paint your nails regularly, you know how frustrating it can be to seal in your nail design with a top coat, and then have it ruined with an accidental smudge, despite being positive that it had completely dried. Oh how the struggle is real! Thankfully, there are more and more products coming out that offer almost instantly dry nails after just one application, one of them being the Mavala Oil Seal Dryer*. For those of you who are unaware, Mavala is a reputable Swiss brand that specializes in all kinds of beauty products, ranging from skin care, nail care, hair care, and more! I was quite curious to try this product out as I had never tried anything like it, and I have to say that it has quickly become a must-have in my nail painting routine!

Introducing The Most Repurchased Beauty Products TAG!

I love reading and watching tag posts and videos, and of course doing beauty tags on my blog, so I decided to create my very own, which I have named the "Most Repurchased Beauty Products TAG"! I think this is a great way to reflect back on the products that had, or still have an important place in our beauty routines. It is also interesting to see what brands come up more often than others!

Carmex Limited Edition Moisture Plus Ultra Hydrating Lip Balm Collection

One of the things I like trying out most is lip balm. Yes, you read right, I love lip balms! In all honesty I probably have enough to last me an entire decade, and yet I find myself always itching to try more. They are so great on the go, and so I usually keep one handy in my school bag, one in my purse, and one on my vanity. I know I am addicted, because if ever I forget to take one with me, I find myself searching for the nearest drugstore for a dry lips savior. I can't be the only one who does this, right?

MAC Powder Blush in Well Dressed

It's been a long time coming, but I finally got my hands on a MAC blush! MAC has one of the largest selections when it comes to blush colours (or any other makeup for that matter), especially considering they have both permanent and limited edition collections. I got a permanent shade called Well Dressed, which is a satin that MAC describes as an immaculate pink, but to me it looks more like a dusty rose.

Aesthetic Hydration Cosmetics: Asian Skin Care Face Products Review

With my newly discovered love for sheet masks and growing fondness for all things Asian skin care, I was so excited when The Beauty Mask Shop, a recently launched Canadian online beauty store, asked me if I'd like to try some skin care products from Korean brand Aesthetic Hydration Cosmetics. A.H.C offers luxurious products meant to bring the same results as would professional spa treatments, all in the comfort of your own home. This company is amongst the most prestigious Korean cosmeceutical brands, being distributed in over 2,000 professional skincare establishments throughout Korea. I was graciously sent a handful of samples from A.H.C, so I will be sharing with you my thoughts on each product that I got to put to the test!

Covergirl Flamed Out Mascara

I don't know why, but one of my favourite beauty products to try out is mascara. I've tried my fair share from different brands, and by far Covergirl would have to be way at the top for me, and that would be due to the Lash Blast Fusion mascara. This time I decided to try one of their new releases, the Covergirl Flamed Out mascara. Did it replace Lash Blast Fusion for me? Keep on reading to find out!

Josie Maran Bear Naked Nail Wipes

I had been hearing many good reviews on the Josie Maran line, and had also been looking for on-the-go nail polish remover pads, so when I spotted the Josie Maran Bear Naked Nail Wipes at Sephora I knew it was a sign - a sign for me to get them that is! Not only do they have a lovely grapefruit scent, but they are also all natural and organic. These nail wipes are said to do 3 things: remove nail polish, repair dry cuticles, and promote healthy nails. They also contain argan oil, one of my most preferred oils that I like to include in my beauty routine.

Nivea Lip Butter in Vanilla & Macadamia

Canada is such a beautiful country to live in, and Mother Nature manifests itself in all kinds of ways around here - from scorching hot temperatures in the summer to frigid cold weather in the winter, and of course everything in between. It is no secret that our winters are very harsh, so a good winter lip treatment is definitely a must for us Canadians. I've tried my fair share of lip treatments, and by far the one that has stood out to me the most is Nivea's Lip Butter in Vanilla & Macadamia. Now let me tell you why I love this lip treatment so much!

NOTD: Tini Beauty Nailtini in Champagne

I've really been into metallic nail polishes lately, and a new found favourite of mine is by Tini Beauty and it is part of the Nailtini Mini Bar Collection called Champagne. It is described as an icy beige, but to me it has more of a rose gold finish. The colour is just so beautiful, and considering I love anything rose gold, I was bound to be a fan!

New Year, New Clothes and a New Camera!

Happy New Year beauties! I hope you had a wonderful holiday season and that you had the chance to catch up with friends and family - and also got to indulge in some delicious food! I don't know about you, but I ate way too much in the last week... I'm definitely going to take it easy on the meals for the next few days!

A few days ago I decided it was time for me to get some new clothes for work. I tend to buy my clothes in bulk, once in the summer and once during winter when all the good sales are going on. I went a little crazy at one of my favourite clothing stores here in Canada called Dynamite, and I was also in need of new winter boots and was so glad to find a pair I liked from SoftMoc!

Also, I finally got a new camera! I had been saving my money to purchase a DSLR, and I can now say that I am the proud owner of a Canon EOS Rebel T3i/600D! I've always been interested in photography, and I am so excited to experiment and learn all there is to know when it comes to taking professional photos. I've been meaning to bring my blog to the next level, and having a DSLR to take better pictures is definitely one step in the right direction!

Here are a few pictures of my clothing haul - I had so much fun experimenting with my new camera and may have gotten a little carried away! :)
