One thing I love about Make Up For Ever is that they are always stepping up their game by releasing new, innovative products or putting a spin on existing products to make them that much better. I have been using their products for many years and I have very rarely been disappointed. The brand has recently added a few products to their Ultra HD line, namely the Ultra HD Microfinishing Loose Powder* and Ultra HD Lip Booster* and they have also come out with a handful of Artist Liquid Matte Liquid Lip Colors*, a few of which I have to share with you. Did these new products live up to my expectations? Keep reading to find out!
One of my favourite face powders it the Make Up For Ever HD Pressed Powder, so I was intrigued to see that they had come out with more shade options in their Ultra HD Pressed Powder line. I decided to try the Ultra HD Microfinishing Loose Powder (C$44/US$36, 0.29 oz or 8.5g) this time around. This translucent powder come in a jar with a sifter to prevent too much product from coming out. As you can see, the powder is very finely milled, and a little goes a long way. I cannot stress enough to use just a bit of product, as the first time I used this powder I picked up way too much and ended up looking ghostly. You live and you learn! To apply, I use a large face brush, lightly dip in the jar and tap any excess off. I focus the product on my t-zone, which is where I tend to get shiny throughout the day and it works great at doing just that! It is also great for photo taking as it helps minimize the risk of white cast or flash back.
To moisturize my lips, I have been enjoying using the Ultra HD Lip Booster (C$29/US$23, 0.20 oz or 6mL) on its own or to prep my lips when applying a lip colour. It comes in two shades, 0 Clear and 01 Tinted. I got shade 01, and although you can see colour on the wand, on my lips it goes on pretty clear as shown on the lip swatch below. This serum is said to hydrate and plump, although I did not notice a difference regarding the latter as my lips do not really look bigger following application. It is more of a luxe liquid balm with key ingredients including hyaluronic acid and loofah oil.

|Make Up For Ever Artist Liquid Matte Liquid Lip Color in 103 Warm Beige|
The Artist Liquid Matte Liquid Lip Color in 103 Warm Beige has a peach/beige undertone. I see it as the most wearable and subtle of the three as it can really go with any look. With just one swipe you achieve full opacity, and I personally do not need to reapply it thoughout the day. These are not transfer-proof (as in product will come off onto a clear glass when drinking for example), but despite a bit of product coming off enough still remains that I do not find it necessary to layer on more.

The Artist Liquid Matte Liquid Lip Color in 105 Rosewood has a mauve/taupe undertone. I have tried similar lipstick shades so I am really happy to also have one in a liquid formula. The product dries down quickly and as you can see it is easy to achieve a sharp outer edge without the need for a lip liner. What I also love is that these lip colours do not crease or emphasize fine lines throughout the day.

The Artist Liquid Matte Liquid Lip Color in 107 Neutral Beige has a brown undertone. This one has that 90s grunge appeal to it, and was the one that terrified me the most. Surprisingly, this one is my favourite of the bunch and I have now been convinced that there are deep chocolate shades that I am able to pull off! Despite being matte, these neutrals shades do not become crusty or feel sticky thanks to moisturizing ingredients including avocado oil, silicone oil and glycerin.
