I know I am not alone when I say that I fell victim to over plucking in my teenage years. What first started as an innocent attempt to get rid of a few strays ended up with me regretting even starting in the first place! Thankfully since then my hair has mostly come back, but I've always had this hope that they would look fuller. My eyelashes on the other hand have always been on the short and thin side, which means they are barely visible without a good coat or two of mascara. So when I was asked if I would like to put RapidLash and RapidBrow to the test, I jumped at the opportunity because hey, maybe these were just what I needed to turn my dreams into reality! For the last nine weeks, I have been diligently coating my hairs with both of these products daily, and it's finally time to reveal my results!
Every night, I have been applying a thin layer of RapidLash on my upper lash line. The slim brush tip makes it very easy to coat the base of your eyelashes and I never experienced any stinging or irritation despite my apprehension. The key ingredients that make up the formula include biotin, soybean oil and pumpkin seed extract to deeply condition and enhance your lashes. My results are not dramatic, but I personally can notice a difference, especially on the inner and outer corners.
RapidBrow on the other hand I have been using twice daily, both morning and night. I simply brush through my brows with the spoolie to evenly spread the clear serum, focusing on sparser areas which for me are in the inner corner as well as the outer tail of my brows. On top of biotin, the formula also contains apple fruit cell extract and sweet almond extract to create healthier, thicker-looking brows.
Like with most things in life, seeing results takes some patience. I have been using both products for nine weeks straight, however noticed an improvement in both my lashes and brows at the three-week mark. I've never been one to have fluttery lashes or full brows, but now I am a step closer!
As you can see in my before and after pictures, my brows appear thicker at the arch as well as in the inner and outer corners. My lashes look longer and have a more noticeable curve to them. I normally have to fill my brows in and apply mascara for my lashes to stand out, and now I no longer feel self-conscious about my sparse brows and thin lashes after giving both of these treatments a try.
RapidLash and RapidBrow are safe and easy to use and are inexpensive too. They are also free of fragrance and parabens and are also cruelty-free. These two products can be purchased at Shoppers Drug Mart, and from May 21st to May 28th you can earn 5x Shoppers Optimum Points with any RapidLash or RapidBrow purchase!
