Province Apothecary Full Brow Serum and Organic Skincare | Review

The struggle is real for me when it comes to my brows and eye lashes - for years I have been trying to grow them out, but it has proven quite difficult. I am part of the 'teenager who over-plucked her brows club' and was sadly not born with beautiful, dark lashes - they are light, sparse and short, hence why mascara became my best friend when I finally discovered its magic. I will say though that there have been two stand-out products that have helped me a bit in the hair growing department: first, the Nutraluxe Lash MD Eyelash Conditioner and coconut oil (because let's face it that stuff is literally good for everything, just some ideas here). When I came across the new Province Apothecary Full Brow Serum*, I was immediately drawn to it: made with 100% active plant ingredients, I had a feeling Mother Nature would come through. Well, let me tell you, after trying the serum for only a couple of weeks, there have been some impressive results.

Province Apothecary is a really unique company in the green beauty landscape in that they source all of their ingredients from all ten Canadian provinces, closely working with local farmers to create some of the purest and safest products on the market. They are 100% vegan and cruelty-free and use high quality organic ingredients to formulate their products. Founded by Julie Clark, an expert in the field of aromatherapy and holistic living, Province Apothecary exudes simplicity and well-being - a true gem for those of us who relish all things natural.

In the little time I have been using the Full Brow Serum (C$36.00, 30 mL or 1 oz.), I have noticed very welcomed results. Specifically made to promote hair growth, I've been massaging two drops into my eye brows at night, dabbing any remaining oil on my lashes. Within the first week of use, I could see my hairs becoming fuller and longer. Made with mostly organic carrier and essential oils, including castor seed oil, argan oil, jojoba seed oil infused with coffee, horsetail, broccoli seed oil, lavender and rosemary, it has a very fragrant, earthy scent. It can be used both morning and night - I have simply been using it before bed and am seeing significant results already.

I received a few samples too, including their Moisturizing Cleanser + Make Up Remover* with avocado and raspberry, Regenerating + Stimulating Exfoliator with lavender and green tea, Lovers Oil* with rose and cedar wood and Sex Oil* with coconut oil and vitamin E. I have also been wearing two of their perfume oils: Parfum Botanique No. 19 with geranium, lavender and benzoin, said to be enlivening and bring comfort to the heart and Parfum Botanique No. 23 with lavender, black spruce and pine, meant to inspire spontaneity and adventure. I am not a huge fan of evergreen scents and have therefore been getting more use out of No.19. These don't last very long on my skin but are very uplifting nonetheless.

Province Apothecary is basically a holistic lovers' dream shop, their products filled with Mother Earth's gifts. If you are just starting to incorporate natural products into your daily life or are looking for a unique blend you have yet to come across, there is something here for everyone, that's for sure.

Province Apothecary can be purchased on their website and through The Detox Market.
