Sibu Beauty Sea Buckthorn Balancing Facial Cleanser

I cannot even tell you how many facial cleansers I have tried in the past since I have never been able to stick to only one. That would be because I have never found one that I noticed made a huge difference in the appearance of my skin. Having sensitive skin, it is very hard to find skin care products that won't irritate my skin and that won't break me out. I have slowly been looking into switching to all natural skin care products, so you can imagine how excited I was when the Sibu Beauty Sea Buckthorn Balancing Facial Cleanser* came in the mail! For those of you who have never heard of the brand, Sibu Beauty is an all natural supplement and personal care line that uses Sea Buckthorn Berry as one of its main ingredients; a little exotic berry that is native to the Tibetan Himalayas and that contains over 190 bioactive compounds, including the much sought-after omega-7 fatty acids. All of their products are paraben-free, sulfate-free and cruelty-free and contain 100% natural ingredients.

The Sibu Beauty Sea Buckthorn Balancing Facial Cleanser certainly proved to me how much using an all natural cleanser can really work wonders for my skin! This non-foaming gel formula contains tiny exfoliating grains that are extremely gentle on the skin and create a nice creamy-white texture once applied, unlike other cleansers which contain unnecessary chemicals that are put in for the sole purpose of creating a lather. Not only is it a great all-natural cleanser, but it is also a very effective makeup remover. It gets rid of any excess oil and impurities and leaves my skin feeling super hydrated and radiant!  After rinsing it off for the first time, what struck me is how it had significantly reduced the redness of my skin. I use it both morning and evening, making sure I wet my hands first, and gently massage it onto my face and neck. I sometimes leave it on for 10-15 minutes, kind of like a mask, as it makes my skin feel nice and taut and replenished. I also really enjoy the unique citrus scent of the sea buckthorn berries, it just reminds me of being in the tropics, so refreshing! Another thing I really like is the simplistic and clean-looking white packaging. The fact that the bottle comes with a locking pump makes it perfect for travelling and for preventing messy spills from happening.

Notice the almost invisible tiny grains? :)

  10. I love Sibu! Haven't tried their sea buckthorn cleanser, but love the oil. Will definitely check this out the next time I'm out of face wash!

Sibu is actually found in Loblaw's stores all around Canada, too, in case you didn't want to shop online :)
