NEW La Roche-Posay Hydreane Light Thermal Spring Water Cream | Review

I feel like my skin has been gradually transitioning to the drier side despite being of the combination type for as long as I can remember, and I really cannot pinpoint the cause of it. Just this summer, I've noticed how less oily I've been getting in my T-zone and this is usually the time when I have to pull out all the stops and take the extra step of priming and giving my face a generous dusting of powder to keep my makeup from melting in the heat. I'm really curious to see how my skin will behave in the coming months. For now though, I've been reaching for very hydrating moisturizers, one of which I've incorporated fairly recently: the new La Roche-Posay Hydreane Light Thermal Spring Water Cream*, which is actually suitable for all skin types, even sensitive skin. Described as "a daily glass of water for the skin," this formula sounded promising and like the perfect addition to my skincare routine.

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation in Y225, Y235 and Y245 | Review

Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisible Cover Foundation Y225 Y235 Y245 Review

I don't know about you, but many times I get swayed into trying a product just because of its name. That, and of course sleek and practical packaging, because let's face it that can often make or break one's experience with makeup. This is where the Make Up For Ever Ultra HD Invisbible Cover Foundation* comes in, aka the new and improved version of the original HD foundation which has now been discontinued. Now, I've never gotten around to trying the original, but if like me you keep track of what keeps people talking in the beauty world, you know that it was one, if not THE most raved about foundation. When I heard that Make Up For Ever was coming out with a new formula that caters to the demands of new 4K technology, which provides never before seen high screen resolution (as in 4 times more precise), I knew I was in for quite the revolutionary foundation. Now, I'm no on-screen personality but apparently, it works great for day-to-day makeup as well. With 40 shades to choose from, it can be tricky to find a perfect match. I opted for shades Y225 Marble*, Y235 Ivory Beige* and Y245 Soft Sand* to see how they compared.

Irresistible Me 24 Inch Royal Remy Hair Extensions in Royal Ash Blonde | First Impression + Review

When I was younger, I had very long, bright blonde hair. As I grew older, my mane went through numerous colour fazes and has now remained a much darker blonde shade. Looking back, the most dramatic thing I've ever done to my hair would be when I chopped most of it off and donated it to a local charity. I remember that day far too well, seeing the apprehension in the eyes of my hairdresser and the other client sitting next to me as the strands were falling to the floor. And there I was... happy and smiling! At this point in time, I am growing my hair out after a much needed chop (photo evidence here), so I thought it would be fun to see how it felt to have my hair super long again, just like in my younger years! I decided to try the Irresistible Me 24 Inch Royal Remy Clip-In Hair Extensions in Ash Blonde (#10)* since they seemed to be the closest to my natural hair shade. I've never tried extensions before, so I was really intrigued to see the results!

SOUFEEL Jewelry 925 Sterling Silver Charm Bracelet | Review

I still remember when charm bracelets became a thing, and dreaming of one day owning a Pandora bracelet. Truth is, there are so many brands out there that make these types of bracelets at a fraction of the price and that look just as lovely and are just as good quality! My sister gifted me a charm bracelet for my birthday a couple of years ago from a local jewelry boutique when we were in Las Vegas. I also bought myself my first charm bracelet at the Trump Store in NYC over four years ago as a souvenir. The best part is that they are both still in great condition! I was recently contacted by SOUFEEL Jewelry to build my own charm bracelet, and upon visiting their website I was pleased to see such a wide selection of charms to choose from at a very affordable price.

Make Up For Ever x Jamie Chung "Be Bold. Be Unexpected. Be You." Artist Shadow Palette | Review + Makeup Look

I think it's so neat when brands collaborate with bloggers and influencers, so you can imagine my excitement when I heard that Make Up For Ever was having its first ever brand campaign, "Be Bold. Be Unexpected. Be You." which promotes individuality and self-expression. This campaign features two prominent and talented women, actress and fashion blogger Jamie Chung and transgender fashion model Andreja Pejić, who each curated their own limited edition Artist Shadow Palette by picking four of their favourite shades from the range of over 200 Make Up For Ever Artist Shadows. While Pejić's quad contains more neutral shades, similar to a few I own from the brand as previously shown here, Chung's Artist Shadow Palette* showcases a few bolder shades that really caught my eye, which I'll be going into more detail about below along with a makeup look using all four shadows. The looks for this campaign were created by celebrity makeup artist Mélanie Inglessis who has worked with the likes of Olivia Wilde and Kate Hudson, just to name a few.

Glo Minerals | Review + Makeup Look

You know those makeup items you try out and can't get enough of so you keep wearing them day after day? Well that is what's been going on with me with regard to the Glo Minerals line. You may remember that I was introduced to the brand late last year when I shared a review of their Luxe Liquid Foundation (here), so I was thrilled to try out more makeup from their collection and create a summery look with the help of some concealer, highlight powder, blush, mascara and lipstick.

EvoDerma ELITE Advanced IPL Hair Removal Device | Review + Demo!

Beauty devices really fascinate me and I'm always curious to learn more about them and see for myself how they perform. My first experience with a skin care device was back in my early blogging days with the Clarisonic Cleansing Brush (reviewed here), followed by the NOOME Anti-Aging Motion Device (here) and the PRONECK Massager (here), both of which I got the chance to test out earlier this year. This time around, I had the opportunity to try out the evoDerma ELITE Advanced IPL Hair Removal Device*, so I thought I would share my thoughts on this at-home system with you and show you a quick demo of how it works in a video! I've never tried anything like it before, but after getting over some of my initial fears, it has turned out to be an overall great experience!

Murad Blemish Control Travel Set | Review

My skin has been (surprisingly) well-behaved in the last few weeks, something that's pretty rare so I am definitely embracing it! Over the last few weeks I've been using the Murad Blemish Control Travel Set* and my skin has been thanking me. The set comes with three deluxe size products: the Clarifying Cleanser, Blemish Clearing Solution and Oil-Control Mattifier SPF 15 PA++. Murad is one of those brands that I've heard really great things about, so I was really excited to give some of their products a try. Since summer is holiday season, this would be a great kit to take with you on your travels since the products comes in a cute makeup case.
